Acceptable Use Policy
Endothermis works because recruiters trust that a note from an Endothermis user is a real person with a real reason to write. These rules keep it that way.
Allowed
- Your own job search, from your own accounts, in your own name.
- Club and school plans, for the members they are licensed to, each in their own name.
Not allowed
- Sending on behalf of someone else, or from an account that is not yours.
- Recruiting, selling, lead generation or any use that is not a candidate reaching a hirer.
- Exporting, scraping or reselling the contact data Endothermis finds.
- False claims in a message: degrees you do not have, work you did not do, people you do not know.
- Deceptive subject lines, fake replies, or impersonating another person or company.
- Writing again to someone who said no, or circumventing the 90-day and per-company caps.
- Attempts to raise sending ceilings, spoof send windows, or run more than one account to multiply volume.
- Harassment, discrimination or anything unlawful.
How we honor stop requests
Every message carries your real name and address. If a recipient replies “no”, “stop” or asks not to be contacted, Endothermis suppresses them for every user. Recipients can also email endothermis@gmail.com.
About LinkedIn and other automation
Endothermis v1 sends email only, through Google’s official Gmail API. If we add LinkedIn sending, understand before you enable it: LinkedIn’s User Agreement prohibits automation, and accounts that use any automation tool can receive a temporary restriction, usually 24 to 72 hours, or in rare cases a permanent one. The mitigation is low volume, human-like timing, and sending only from your own account for your own search. We will put that choice behind a clear, separate opt-in and we will stop an account for 72 hours on any warning. We will never solve a CAPTCHA or read a verification code out of your inbox on your behalf.
Enforcement
We may pause sending, lower caps, or suspend an account when these rules are broken. Where practical we tell you why.
